My house faces south and every time I drive out, I see the reflection of back dash in my rear windshield.
So I made this anti-reflective shield with a black fabric.

I'm not sure but I think those vents near the brake light are for defogging.

The HV battery vent is in a different place, below the rear seats. The vents at the rear windows are for cabin air circulation from what Honda calls the "flow-through ventilation system." - Cabin Air Outlet Vents

The rear dash was left in tact. The reflection/glare seen by the driver out the rear window was reduced by adding a darker colored, non-plastic covering (picture 1 "before" vs picture 2 "after").
