Hoping to buy an Insight this week in Florida. Was considering Prius or Insight -- and know Toyota is "dealing" on pricing. Honda never deals "much" -- but are prices tighter due to the problems with making the Insight in August (due to so me problem with a Mexican plant)?

Thanks.

Prices are tighter because it’s a new model year/generation. Look at the accord hybrid or civic hatchback - Honda can’t give as good of a deal on those as they can on regular civics or accords. Insight is also in a tough spot being a 2019 and new generation/body style though most people got good deals from what I’ve seen. Not a lot of incentive to buy or deals for the customers, at least not yet maybe in 3-6 or 9 months from now deals will be eve. better.

From my experience that’s just Honda they make lower volumes they expect to sell, and rarely offer big discounts.
You might get a percentage off interest rates or an extra package thrown in
Nothing like the North American production of excess followed by huge discounts
