Hi everyone, tomorrow I intend to purchase my new ride. 2020 Honda Insight EX here in South East Florida. Any last suggestions are well appreciated! I know I don’t get the 2019 deals on the 2020, but I’m more nervous about the financing guy with all that extra stuff out there. In particular the Honda Care Plan seems way out of hand..($3200 for 10/120k) Any advise?!

Good luck tomorrow!

No harm in shooting for the 2019 pricing on a 2020 model, as @2020 was able to do in Phoenix.

Assume you've test driven already and are now ready to sit down for the paperwork, but there are some suggestions in this thread if you're looking to gather final impressions on a drive before signing.

On Honda Care, it looks like you found our thread on the topic, which includes some pricing information and opinions on purchase. Review it once more and decide if it's something you want. Keep in mind you don't have to purchase Honda Care at the time of vehicle signing; there are options to purchase later (other dealers or online) if you decide you want it.

I don't think Honda Care comes with a 10 year plan(max is 8 years). Living in Florida also means you get screwed on Honda Care pricing due to state law prohibiting you from buying the warranty in another state. The dealerships in Florida will most likely gouge you on Honda Care since you don't have other options or steer you towards 3rd party warranties.

For a 19/20 EX if you get a price between 23k-24k OTD I would consider that a good deal.

Good point. It's probably an alternate warranty package (not Honda Care?) given the 10 year offering. Honda Care max is 8 yr/120k for plan D82. They may be pushing the 3rd party warranty as it has a higher profit margin.

Aside from Honda Care, there are 'extended warranty alternatives' like those mentioned in following thread:
