Went out to the garage and noticed an odd buzzing noise, which seemed to come from the underside of the car in the rear. My guess is some kind of fan to cool the battery, but it wasn't especially hot in the garage and the car was parked for over 4 hours at this point. Started it and moved it in/out of the garage, and the noise disappeared.

For 22k, which is what I paid for my LX, sometimes I underestimate the sophistication of the Insight. I mean we get all this for the 20’s?!?!

I ran into the exact same situation with my '22 Insight while parked in the garage. Glad to hear that this is by design and not an actual issue!
