Driving at speeds above 65mph, does the car feel unstable in windy conditions or regular conditions or does the low lithium battery placement provide good stability in highway driving?
Mine is fine. The only time I felt the wind while driving 60+ was when tropical storms Florence and Michael came through here. Sometimes I see my hood vibrate a little in the corner closest to me on the driver side due to it being a light metal(Aluminium I think). But the Insight feels no different than my civic did on the interstate/highways outside of getting 20-25 MPG more than the civic did.
I will say the Insight’s sport mode seems to have more “ooomph”/power than my old 15 civics sport mode did. It does pull you back in your seat a little if that makes sense.
The car feels stable and smooth and fairly quiet at speeds above 65 mpg. No issues there.
