Anyone else having CarPlay connection issues? My phone will charge when I plug it in but the CarPlay won’t start up. I am using an apple certified cable. When I restart the whole system to factory settings, it worked for a week.

I'd try a different cable or two until you find one that works. If possible, use the one that came with the iPhone. Even "apple certified" cables have problems with CarPlay.

I am having slightly different issue. CarPlay works fine most of the time but sometimes it will just disconnect on its own even when it’s connected and I am using the maps. Any support would help.

Does this happen with a single map app or all of them (Apple Maps? Waze? Google Maps?)? There are a couple open threads that may be worth reading through, though no single magic solution yet.

I have the same issue and have tried a couple cords. I’m going to go thru every cord in my house today to be sure.

I have been very active in both of those threads and even started one of them. The problem isn’t localized to just one app. I’ve deleted those apps to test and got no positive solution. I wish there was.
