Can anybody give me a step-by-step way to stabilize and place properly the center two position cup holder in my Touring 2019 Insight?

The darn thing tips, won't slide easily into the center console, and doesn't reliably hold my water bottle.

Once it was stable but since it tipped to one side, I can't seem to insert it properly. Is there a page in the manual someplace or...??

Thanks for any help you can provide.

I haven't seen any written instructions unfortunately. There should be a rail that the cupholder sits on, felt glides on the side, and spring/tension from the "squeeze point" at the center. If you rotate/reverse the cupholder position by 180, does it help the stability at all?

Yes there are glides for the cup holder and there's a button to push on the driver's side of the cup holder to remove it or to get it back into the gliders. The button is on the top side of the cup holder and when pushing that button toward the driver, it allows it to slide neatly and firmly into the gliders. It's designed to take the cup holder in and out of the bin area.

Maybe something is wrong with your cupholder's lock/unlock switch? Mine snaps into place on the 2nd track once I release the switch. The first track is for the coin tray if you own the Touring.
