Hello!
Guys, I need your help.
I am located in Ukraine and own a 2019 Honda Insight Touring. bought the car at Copart auction and restored it almost completely. The car is great, but one question remains about connecting the front left shock sensor. Sensor Assembly, Front Crash 77930-TXM-B11

The sensor itself is new, but there is an error on the dashboard. Testing by the Honda diagnostic system gives an error - the sensor is not visible. Most likely there are difficulties with the connection. Perhaps earlier, during the repair, the wires in the harness and connector were mixed up, since they were changed. In the sensor itself there are 4 contacts, in the connector there are 2 wires. To understand, you need a diagram for connecting the sensors to the SRS unit.

I tried to get it on the website Service Express, but the payment for access was paid, but the process fails and the access is not opened. There were two attempts. The first time the money was returned, the second time is in the refund stage. Most likely some difficulties due to access from another country. Maybe someone has accidentally access or is there a connection diagram for shock sensors to the SRS unit? Or maybe someone has the opportunity (the bumper was removed for some reason) and there is an opportunity to take a photo of the cable connector so that you can see which wires are in color and which contacts are connected? Thankful in advance.

Given the online/technical difficulty you had, is their customer service willing to help you find (and maybe provide 'free' since you tried to pay twice?) the diagram(s) you're requesting?

It might not be high enough resolution, but one video that shows front bumper removal is DIY OEM parking sensor installation shared by @AMCooper63 - Parking Sensors

Not sure it helps, but the following threads speculates that shock sensors are not tied to the security system (at least) - Security Alarm goes off when I close my trunk -and- Dealer installed alarm?

Thanks!

Unfortunately, the question remains open.
I will answer point by point.
  • site Service Express sent a refund of the second payment and it should soon be drawn to the card. The site support offered to try again and recommended to use the Microsoft Explorer browser and not to use Google Chrome and Microsoft EDGE (I used them the first and second times).
  • unfortunately, the video does not show exactly how the sensor connector is connected.
  • the shock sensor 77930-TXM-B11 refers to the active safety system of the vehicle in a collision and is included in the SRS unit according to the scheme. This unit receives information from the impact sensors and gives the appropriate commands to deploy the airbags. Actually, therefore, we do not want to experiment with the connection so as not to trigger the airbags.
  • site https://www.hondapartsnow.com/ gives the best Honda car detailing. I have used it many times when choosing parts when repairing a Honda insight. But unfortunately, there is no diagram that shows how the sensor is connected with which wires.
Thanks for your willingness to help!
Probably I will try to buy access again if I don’t find a photo of the connector with the color of the wires.

Well . Left Front Impact Sensor Problem Solved !!!!
Many thanks again to WorldThatHeSees !!!!
Your photo helped a lot !!!
We tried to get to the sensor in the same way, unscrewing the fender liner, but when we saw the sensor, we realized that the cable to it was much shorter than in your photo.
So there is something wrong with the cable. I had to remove the bumper and headlight (someone put the cable to the sensor under it). Having laid the cable along a different path, we noticed that someone was working with the cable's protective coating. We removed the protective sheath and saw two solders . Someone (a very poor specialist) repaired the cable and reversed the polarity - so the sensor was not visible. We quickly restored everything and the error went away by itself !!!!

About access to https://techinfo.honda.com/. We managed to get access and there is a lot of useful information of the car, but we never used this information during the repair. Although we prepared in advance and found all the information on the SRS system diagram, connectors, pin numbers, etc.
