So I had to send proof of MSRP to the Mass RMV cause they overvalued my Insight by about $1000 for motor excise tax purposes. I found the window sticker, and it shows the EX MSRP of $24,060 and Destination of $895. On the Honda website, it currently shows MSRP of $24,160, and Destination of $920.


Once my valuation is correct, I'm stilling paying around $600, for my 1st motor excise tax bill. Already paid $2004 in sales tax at time of vehicle purchase.

I noticed the destination fee go up on January 1, but didn't catch the base price change until you pointed it out just now. I think the Touring base price went up by $100 too!

Yea I noticed that as well. The dealer had two choices for me to purchase. One was $100 more plus a slight delivery fee increase.

My destination charge was $895 on the car label. (purchased July 2019).
