Email on infotainment?

Strange. I have an Android phone and once I added my phone to the system it automatically linked to my email. Now I haven't tested this much since using text on the Honda system leads to the voice speaking the texts like one huge run on sentence. Guess Honda's voice algorithms aren't too good at sentence structure. I'll look into the email further. I find this odd since with apple having a more closed architecture things like this seem to work more easily than with Android where we have do many choices there leads to more incompatibilities. Does apple play do email? If it does I figure it's probably vastly better than Honda's email program.
