Is there any way to have the fog lights on with the bright lights? I travel through some rural areas and deer every were. In my truck I had a switch installed. With all these electronics can that be done?

^You mean like this?

Edit: Bright lights = high beams? If that is the case then I don't think it's possible. The owner's manual only talks about low beams + fog lights. Is it legal to have high beams + fog lights on at the same time? Maybe that's why it's not doable.

It's definitely possible if you have someone redo the electrical wiring.

A Honda Tech described how to wire the fog lights to the high beams on a Genx Civic here - https://www.civicx.com/threads/diy-fog-lights-with-high-beam-mod.33784/

There are several steps and parts involved, and it would be best to have/reference the Insight-specific wiring diagram before attempting... but it does look possible to do.

There is also a separate discussion in the Civic forum of wiring the fog lights to the DRLs, which might help as a cross-reference - https://www.civicx.com/threads/drl-fog-lights-or-high-beams-drl-fog-lights-module.36719/

Net, both are do-able, but a little complicated for the average DIY-er.
