Back in late September, I played in a golf tournament here. I made not one, but TWO hole-in-ones, and the second was good for winning a brand-new Ford Escape. These things are covered by insurance, so there were all kinds of interviews, affidavits, and the like. Fast forward to yesterday, when I got the call from Ford that I could come and get my car! Went down there, did all the media photos and stuff, drove it off the lot... across the street to the Honda dealer!
They've had this Aegean Blue EX there for a while. I was trying to make up my mind between that and a new Civic. Test drove both yesterday; the Civic is a nice car, but the Insight was just so much nicer.
Traded in the Escape and my 2010 Civic and made up the difference with a check and drove the Insight home last night!
I'll post some details about pricing (I did OK) later. But for now, I can say I don't recommend dealing with buying two new cars in one day and trading one in. Still worn out from late yesterday...
Stoked to have this car. Also thankful for this forum; I was able to work on price and price of the HondaCare.

Sounds like a smart move to drive the new car across the street and sell it virtually new, maximize the resale.
Why keep it if you don’t want it
And the savings on fuel and insurance will probably save you lots every year!
