I haven’t bought my car yet but have been dickering with two dealers.

One has my color at MSRP. The other can eventually get it but is offering $1k off MSRP. Hoping the first place will match the offer.

I’m replacing a 2015 Honda FIT which I have really enjoyed and will miss some of the features of the car. It has served me well but my needs have changed.

Probably the first thing I will do is get the windows tinted. I’m in San Francisco Bay Area and break ins are rampant here. :sad:

You should be able to negotiate near the invoice price. Definitely don’t settle for MSRP. Have you tried TrueCar or Edmunds?

Here are the invoice prices:

LX -> $22016
EX -> $23245
Touring -> $26976

I wish that were the case where I am.

Edmonds shows me MSRP and TrueCar shows above MSRP average.

Picked up my car yesterday and ended up with a Orchid White EX. Love the Aegean Blue but it would have been too bold for me. And the dealer gave me a deal on the car. Considering people are paying above MSRP in my market I’m happy with that.

Now to sell the FIT.
