Hello, all. I am getting ready to buy an Insight in the San Diego area. After any visits to dealerships I've decided I want a Crimson Red EX but there aren't many of them around, so I may have to wait to get what I want. Glad to find this forum!

I have yet to see the Crimson Red in person but it looks nice in pictures.

I might have to take that back. I went to the dealership this morning to look at the aegean blue model and I am now considering that, mostly because I prefer the dark interior. The crimson red in person looks nothing like most of the photos and videos I have seen. I don't love it.

Well I love my Crimson Red! It's dark and rich, like burgundy.

That's cool, dr_glenn! It is pretty. I think my disappointment was because the color is not well represented in any of the Honda photos so it wasn't what I was expecting.

Know what I want

I'm a light-car guy, with a dark interior. I'm going to get an EX White Orchard Pearl with a black interior.


Not sure when... maybe late fall... maybe next spring.
