You can set the car to open all locks on walk up. Keep going through your menus and you'll find it. You can adjust your steering wheel too. It's in the center bottom way back. I always find it hard to find as well. The stereo is a disaster. See my comments and such in other parts of the forum under stereo complaints.
I would like to read about your "stereo complaints", but I can't figure out how to search these forums. When I use the box labeled "Google Custom Search" it shows me links from all over the web.

It's under insight features and equipment section and touring stereo. I've bitched about it on the other insight forum as well.

The "Google Custom Search" doesn't actually seem to search these forums! If I search for some topic related to my Honda Insight - a topic that I'm pretty sure if discussed here - I just get lots of www hits.

Try the steps below, in supplement to the prior response Mr. Natural provided to your question - https://www.gen3insight.com/forum/4284-post39.html

While on the "New Posts" page, look for the "ADVANCED SEARCH" hyperlink (on the upper L side of screen, ~1/3 down from top). Type in a search word, but note that the search doesn't run if the word(s) your searching for are too short (e.g. 3 characters or less).

What specific terms were you looking for?

- JB
I can't recall, but I've been frequently seduced into trying the "Google Custom Search", only to recall that it is not helpful. Why is it there?
Previous response reminded me that the Tools menu for this website contains "Advanced Search". Could you make that item easier to see?

Are you trying to look for a certain thread/post?
Google Search should be able to do that.
I am interested in finding posts that talk about Android Auto. Type that into the "Google Custom Search" box and the results are not helpful - they come from all over the web. Use "Tools/Advanced Search" and it's only from these forums - much better.

As mentioned, Advanced Search does not search the forums for short terms like "MPG" and "SMS." Google Custom Search brings up results external to the forum. If the Google Search feature is not operating as designed for the site, please research and address.

Yes, it would be nice if the "Google Custom Search" embedded at the top of this forum's pages could search that way by default. Currently the Google Search is set to search on sites outside of the forum.

Hello there,

Try to put site:https://www.gen3insight.com/forums/ in the google search and search for what you want.

Let me know if that works.

Ed
It's not worth the hassle! If I'm logged in, I will use Tools/Advanced Search. If I'm not logged in, the Tools menu does not appear. Sad.
As someone suggested, perhaps the "Google Custom Search" box could be modified to default to these forums - I'll bet it's part of the forum software config.

Even while not logged in, the "Advanced Search" shows up in the same location (left side, top 1/3 of page) if you click "Today's Posts." A validation step is needed to complete the search, but it's otherwise the same page/format.

Newbies will have to suffer and learn this "Advanced Search" technique because the "Google Custom Search" still isn't set up as intuitively as it should be. Hopefully the Admins will address this, rather than requiring users to type this forum's name to search the site.

Can the "Advanced Search" be adjusted to allow searches for 3-character words? There are several forum-relevant short text searches I'd like to and have tried to search (e.g. MPG, OBD, SMS, TSB) but any search term under 3-characters returns "text too short" message.

Please advise -?

The issue with 3 character searches is that it will take longer due to searching more iterations of those terms and can potentially cause the search function to crash if it becomes overloaded.

We can look into it if the community is all on board. However, there may be some drawbacks if we make the change. Is everyone on board with this?
