Infotainment screen protector?

Does anyone have or know where to find a screen protector for the infotainment screen?

I have the factory one still but after 5 months it’s getting a few scratches and I’d like to have a replacement before peeling it off. I never had one for my ‘15 civic but rarely used that touch screen. Use the one on the insight several times each drive.

I’ve seen glass and film types for the accord and other models but none for the insight.

Checked eBay and googled but can’t find anything.

I hadn’t even considered a screen protector. Do you think it really needs one? I have one I my phone, but that gets stuffed in my pocket, etc. my iPad is four years old and has seen way more use than the car screen ever will. It still looks great.
Ah that’s true. You may be right by it not needing one. Never had one on my iPad and usually only keep one on my phone for the first 3 or 4 months then remove it. I just am hesitant to take off the factory one but may have to soon.
I always put one on the screen - I ended up using one made for a 2015+ Nissan Pathfinder Platinum and it covers the Insight's touchscreen OK. Hope they make one specifically to fit the Insight soon like they've done for other Hondas.
I use this product for all my apple products' screens and it works, so I ordered it for my Honda Insight as well. I didn't receive it yet but once I do I can let people know here if it works or not.
Thanks. Saw that a week or two ago, haven’t pulled the trigger on it yet but probably will. I was hoping for a glass one like on the accord and odyssey.
I'm waiting on a glass one as well! Amazon reviews for other Honda screen protectors from PCProfessional mention blurry/hazy screen, heat-warping, and poor corner adhesion after installation.

So I had some Discover points and bit the bullet and got the Amazon screen protector. Came with two and was easy to install though I have a slight dust in the top I have no bubbles. It’s not bad at all. Will have to see how it holds up as the factory plastic bubbled up once during very cold weather. After 6 months I finally removed the factory plastic and the screen is very nice without a protector but I decided to try these on.

here are some pics.

Looks like a perfect fit. Have you noticed any image distortion with the screen protectors? Your pictures look pretty clear, but some reviews showed heinously blurry images. Will be interested to know whether these hold their shape as the temperature gets warmer.
Agreed. I’m curious as to how they hold with changing temperatures. We get all 4 seasons in one week here in NC.

So far so good. Literally just installed it today so will see how it reacts to sunlight but looks to be less glare than the original plastic. I noticed a little pixelation versus the oem plastic and after I removed it. I will have to see how google maps shows up with satellite imagery on it as that’s the only time I think having HD with no pixels will make a difference to my eyes. Will keep posted.
Has anyone installed the screen protectors on their entertainment centers? Do you like it and is it holding up good/look ok? I have a few light scratches already (I'm using a microfiber cloth even).. Yesterday was my one year anniversary of owning the car.. I want to keep it nice...

Haven't invested in one yet, but have been eyeing ones for the 2019 Civic that are cheaper and have more reviews/info (due to sales volume). Now that the Civic refresh got a volume knob and hard buttons, the infotainment design looks similar to the Insight. I want to measure / compare the infotainment size before buying to confirm it will fit, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

P.S. I still have the factory original film covering the screen for now.

:( They took mine off when they delivered her to me :(

Gotta be careful out there!! There are "things" out there looking to make a mark on her.. lol

...would you believe that I required them to leave it in place as a condition of sale. If it came off, I wasn't going to buy the car. ;)

It's holding up pretty well so far, more than a year later. If I could find/buy more of these, I would.
Hi gen3insight owners,

Try this ........ I had been looking for a tempered glass screen protector for my vehicle but there does not seem to be one for the dimensions of the unit, so tried this:

JETech Screen Protector for Amazon Fire 7 (9th / 7th Generation, 2019/2017 Model),

You can find it on Amazon.
Basically it is the screen protector for the Amazon Fire 7 tablet. It fits the dimensions of the unit and covers all screen touch points when interacting with it. There is one very tiny punch hold from where the camera would be on the tablet, but if that does not bother you I think it works great!

Hey all, I have the 2019 Touring and for the screen I found somewhere on this forum last year that buying the screen protector for a notebook covers the screen perfectly. I know this because I bought one right away and its worked out perfectly. No problem wiping smudges or prints marks just like a phone screen protector.
Good to hear it's holding up! I still have the original factory plastic on it; it has some scratches, but no bubbles and is holding up so I've still been researching a permanent solution. The thread with info on the screen protector is here - Infotainment screen protector?

yup thats it...I kept my original plastic on to until I could get my screen protector. I kept using my credit card to smooth out the little bubbles LOL like window tinting. My corner and edge caught some dust so it was time to get a screen protector. It was worth the money and good deal on eBay for it at the time. I have no regrets.
