2019 Honda Insight EX
I must of missed that part when reading the article. :sad:I kind of buy what Honda says re: India being a test location for temperature/traffic/road conditions, rather than India being a new launch place. The car is large and higher priced compared to other cars in India. If Honda was preparing to launch it in India, I think they'd be 'proud' to announce it (free press), rather than downplaying it as mentioned in the article quote.
Look it's a baby Insight!Speculation in India is that the testing foreshadows a hybrid for the next-gen "City" model (subcompact), which is Honda's best-selling sedan in India. India accounts for 25% of the City's global sales volume. - https://www.carblogindia.com/honda-insight-spotted-testing-in-india/
I don't buy small cars like the FIT because I get anxiety driving them on the highway surrounded by SUVs/Trucks. The Insight felt a little too wide for me at first but I think it's perfect now that I've adjusted.I wish Honda offered sedans this size in the US, without having to downgrade to a Fit. The size of the Honda City is akin to the size of prior generations of the Civic when it was a "true" compact car by EPA definition.
