Anyone made an LA (or similar area) run to Vegas in this car?
Just wondering how it handled, MPG along the way, how you drove, etc.
My old 2010 used to HATE Cajon pass and took many miles to catch up.
Just wonderin'

Haven't driven it, but thought I'd share what the terrain profile looks like. (Aside from traffic, I check terrain maps more often now with a hybrid, so I know what to anticipate when planning new drives.)

Cajon Pass looks like a long/steep gradual climb, while Halloran Springs looks like a short/steep climb. I think you'll hear the engine labor on both of these stretches, and it will 'feel' worse over Cajon because of the duration of the climb. There's a nice rolling downhill stretch between Cajon and Halloran Springs and also on the return trip, which should give some nice mpg / regen gains.

I live in Kingman, AZ, which is about 100 miles from Vegas. I've done a couple of runs back and forth to LA. Down to LA I was able to get over 50 keeping at AZ and CA speed limits (or so. :)) and coming back it was around 48. Uphill coming to Kingman, downhill going to LA.
