Here is how to put the car in maintenance mode
These instructions is suitable for 3rd gen insight and 2018 Accord Hybrid and later...
You can watch the video i tried to make it clear and follow the steps as mentioned down


Steps
1\ Press the start button twice without depressing the brake pedal..
2\ Depress the gas pedal fully twice and 2 seconds each time..
3\ Put the transmission in Neutral (press the brake pedal to shift)
4\ Depress the gas pedal fully twice and 2 seconds each time..
5\ Put the transmission in Park (press the brake pedal to shift)..
6\ Depress the gas pedal fully twice and 2 seconds each time..
7\ Start the car
And your running in maintenance mode

NB
*if the steps failed then be sure that your floor Matt doesn't interfere with the gasoline pedal and be sure that you press it fully and for 2 sec. Each time
*Some alerts will pop up dont worry this is normal then after you shut the car everything will return to Normal...

Why would we, as owners, use maintenance mode?
As regular user I think no need to know about it
But if you r an advanced user and like DIY, then u can use it to run the gasoline engine alone so u can test misfire or any weird sound to check the source ... Etc

Ah. That makes sense. Taking the battery out of the equation will definitely assist in ice-related servicing.

To clarify, is the brake pedal depressed in step 7 (as per the normal process to start the car)? Or is the step specifying to just press the power/start button (without brake pedal)?
Yes sir brake pedal should be depressed as regular starting of the car in step 7
