This Manufacturer Communication (MC) was issued for 5 Honda models (Accord, Insight, Odyssey, Passport, Pilot) across 4 model years (2018-2021). Each has center display screens that were supplied by Alpine.
Apparently dealers have been replacing what appears to be cracked infotainment screens, but turns out to be a cracked screen protector instead (maybe one of those tempered glass type screen protectors?). Seems obvious, but Honda guidance/reminder is for dealers to remove any aftermarket screen protectors and re-check for cracked screen, before proceeding to replace the head unit.
