Just bought my new car on Saturday! First hybrid ever! Coming from a 2005 Subaru legacy with horrible mpg. Got a great deal on my touring. $25890
Congrats! I just got an Insight EX. Came from a 2006 Subaru Legacy as well. Was getting about 25 mpg on my Legacy. Looking forward to the savings at the pump!

Welcome to the community and congrats on your score of an Insight. Looks like Subaru is finally starting to explore hybrid variants with the new Crosstrek PHEV.
The Crosstrek PHEV was my second choice but ended up going with the Insight (sportier and less expensive before fed/state rebates on the PHEV).

Congratulations and welcome! Indeed an amazing price. Is that including destination fee?

I've had my Touring since September and it's been very efficient.

That's including destination, wheel locks, and splash guards. I was looking for the grey with black interior and two different ppl at the dealership said they had it and would offer it to me for 25,500. When I got there, it was the wrong color interior (mocha) . After a few hours I told them I couldn't be sold on it and was about to leave and they said they could get the one I wanted from another near by dealer but for 26000. I said no and then was able to add the extras and lower price. Initially they wanted to wait to give me the car after the holidays and I said no. It was there within two hours. I was up set that I drove 1.5 hrs and the correct car was not there after being assured. But I still got a a great deal, so I'm not complaining.

My Subaru was getting just that. I've gotten up to 30 mpg before but blue that my driving is mostly stop and go traffic , it just wasn't doing it for me. We did keep it the snowy days since I have a 120 mile commute RT.

To me the phev Crosstrek is not even worth it. Better off with others. But I'm excited that they're finally going in that direction.

For those with more miles on their Insights, I've been wondering how many miles it took before you saw the "second level" of leaves appear -?
Now that I have a few more miles on my Insight, I estimate my horizontal bar (lifetime/cumulative driving) for "leaf level 1" will end at ~1500 miles and "leaf level 2" will start displaying. I'm guessing Honda's scoring algorithm accounts for different driving styles, so the cumulative mileage transition point may vary for each car/driver.

Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to turning (earning) a new leaf!

Welcome <: I picked up mine on 21/31 and it's also my first hybrid. But I have rented them before so I was confident buying one.

That's the best way to experience them aside from asking a dealer to let you go on a lengthy test drive.
Did you compare it to any other hybrids out at the time, after all Honda did enter the game a bit late, but undoubtedly delivered well!
