  • Toyota 'wins' half the list (5), followed by Honda (3) and Ford (2).
  • The Insight made the top 10, but is the "bottom-selling" model on the list, selling at a rate ~8x lower than the top RAV4 Hybrid model on the list.
  • Hyundai, Kia, Nissan and US brands fall outside the top 10.

The Rav 4 hybrid 's pedestrian warning is hideous. The noise alone deters pedestrians from getting close, but it has not deterred would be buyers as it's in the #1 spot.

The Insight doesn't stand out, it looks like an Accord from a distance. Most people probably don't even know that it exists and if they have heard about the Insight, they picture the old Insight. Everyone knows what a Prius is, it's synonymous with Hybrid. I am not sure why Honda has virtually zero advertising when it comes to the Insight, as if they don't want it to sell but want to pretend like they tried.
