It doesn't look like there have been any official recalls for the new Insight just yet. Are there any issues that anyone is currently experiencing that you think might be a widespread problem? Glad to see that the new Insight has had a solid launch.

So far, so good, but look at the forum/thread above this one! Sounds like it’s QC may be a bit less than stellar, at least initially.

For those tempted by the Prius, remember that its crash test ratings aren't as good as the Civic's or the Insight's and that there is now a major recall of the Prius!

A wiring harness under the Prius hood wears out prematurely and is a FIRE risk!

It should be an easy fix, though, so we don't want to overstate the issue.

I had a pickup truck once upon a time that had a similar issue. They went so far as to warn us not to park in the garage until it wa fixed. It was an easy fix...took less than an hour at the dealer.
