I did a search and found that Honda has made the new Insight's Owner's Manual available online. You can look at it there or download all 675 pages and 38.8mb of it:

Wow this is much better than the one supplied with the car.

Indeed it is! And there are clickable page links in the PDF. It is much longer and therefore might cover all features. But the printed version has some color in it and this PDF is strictly grey scale - how strange.

Just wait for when they're ready to bring out augmented reality. It will go a long way to improving our overall experience. Some people require an in-person like walk through and can't always depend on a print manual.
Printing this took a solid 15 minutes. Duplex. Broke the printer at work. :)
You can order the full printed version here: http://owners.honda.com/manualrequest/
It's a terrible safety hazard that this innovative car is delivered without the "printed" Owner's Manual (available free from americanhonda.com , but only delivered 4-6 weeks after request)

Anyone unfamiliar with Honda Sensing features and hybrid car uniqueness are ill-equipped to drive the 2019 Insight ----- before becoming thoroughly acquainted with the Owner's Manual (625 pages at that)
The owner's manual is available on PDF too:
Owner's Manual | 2019 Honda Insight | Honda Owners Site

I appreciate print materials as much as anyone, but the PDF is text-searchable, hyperlinked throughout, and easier to share on the forum than the print one.

What mgldan said. All the info is there.
I believe many Insight owners will never send for the printed Owner's Manual nor view the manual on-line. Some will even assume that the Owner's Guide is all they might need.

Will you please tell me how the downloaded manual may be searched ?

Also, when I download the manual I get a PDF file that does not let me click on a page number and be immediately taken to that page. The manual I view on-line allows me to do that.

I'm new to Honda Sensing and hybrid technology, so I've had a lot to learn.

I did own 2014 and 2016 Civics, which has helped my transition.
dr_glenn , When I download the on-line manual I get a version that does not have the page clickable feature. Do you have any idea as to what I may have done wrong ?

If you're on a Mac, press command-F while the PDF is open. A text field will appear that you can type any words you like into. If you're on Windows, use control-F instead of command-F.

Not everything in the PDF is clickable, but all the page references are. In the attachment, I drew some red arrows to indicate clickable areas.

In general, I also suggest using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. On Macs, using Apple's built-in Preview app, I noticed that some elements of the PDF don't render properly.

Thank you, thank you mgldan

I had been opening in WPS-Writer

Opening with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. or with Google Chrome give me the searchable as well as the page clickable features

I've worked with computers for years, but on the Internet I learn something new every day

Merry Christmas to you, you deserve it

P.S. I tried to get my question answered by phoning American Honda Support. The girl I spoke with became surly and said I was asking for them to supply me with a tailored file !!

Since some of us might be interested in some sort of Cloud service to store and access our documents anywhere, I found onedrive and gdrive to be great for opening PDF's, searching and highlighting. Not all PDF apps work as smooth. To note, this is my experience using an Andriod device.
I ordered the hard copy owners manual that is free from Honda, took about 3 weeks to get it. I suggest it if you don't want to have a computer or smart phone to get info, you can use it anywhere there is light. I am 73 and don't want to mess with smartphones. You are right about the Insight taking some getting used to. These forums are a big help.

Totally agree that a hardcopy is a must have! Since you're already online with this forum, you might also want to consider downloading a copy of the PDF version of the manual. The link is in the following thread, where it's mentioned that the 'searchability' and hyperlinks really help to quickly find what you need.

Another benefit is that the online version will always be current, while the paper copy isn't likely to be reprinted.

Hi I have a 2019 Honda Insight and i'm looking at the manual about how to change the engine oil.

http://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/pubs/QS/AH/ATXM1919OG/enu/ATXM1919OG.PDF

It's on page 65/75 for the pdf.
While the Owners GUIDE in your link comes printed with the vehicle (75 pages), it contains much less info than the Owners MANUAL (675 pages), as Mr. Natural mentioned.

The Owners Manual PDF can be found at this link, or you can request a physical copy of the full manual at this link. The PDF copy is helpful for quick searches/reference.

The physical copy is 'free' if requested within the first 6 months of purchase.

How do you get the “free” copy? I’m within the 6 months but when using the link you provided, it’s saying the manual costs $50.

There should be an area that prompts you to enter your VIN at/before checkout. If it doesn't prompt for VIN, try THIS HONDA LINK instead. Alternately, you could call Helm at 800-782-4356 (M-F 8AM - 6PM EST) to make the request. You should be able to tell them the VIN and get free copy mailed to you.

This is the full list of manuals you can get mailed to you in the free/6-month window, if desired: Honda Insight 2019

I ordered my free copy thru Helm via online form. It took longer to receive than they advised, so I called them and got a tracking number for the delivery. They handle this for all major auto manufacturers, so they're super familiar and helpful with this.
