Thank you for talking sense to me! I do think it looks cool, but when you put it like that it seems kind of silly and not worth the hassle.Haha, uh-oh. You asked for an opinion from the internet?! I always thought it was a frivolous endeavor and categorized it with obnoxious rear spoilers, rear window graphics, fart cans, plasti-dipped wheels, and smoked or euro-style tail-lights. If you do paint them, please break from the stereo-type and try to keep the brake dust and grime off them (good luck).
One of the reasons I like my Insight is that it is anonymous.
Yeah, the wheels would be a better statement and I'd frankly need different wheels to make the calipers visible. That would be putting the cart before the horse.Yeah, not to discourage any attempts at individuality.
Maybe some tasteful matte-black after-market wheels instead? Go for that storm-trooper black on white look. I would have sought out a white one as well, but here in the north, everything bleeds Fe orange eventually and it wouldn't age well.
Hey! I like my spoiler! 😫Haha, uh-oh. You asked for an opinion from the internet?! I wouldn't do it unless you can make it look like a Insight Type-R edition.:wink:Is this still something that looks good or is it totally "last decade"? I have a white EX, so was thinking if there was anything I'd do to make the exterior more striking, this would be it. But the fad might have ended long ago.
Nice! That would be closer to the look I'm going for, but in white of course.I wouldn't do it unless you can make it look like a Insight Type-R edition.
