What percent tint is that?

35% = legal limit in Washington

Same here in Illinois, and I have the same color Touring. How much did it cost for the tint job?

$260 after tax and such
Wow did not know they had a spoiler for this car. Nice look!
Yeah -- tinted my windows here in Kansas -- 35% maximum.

BUT I wanted a windshield "eyebrow" and they said because of "Honda Sensing" I could not modify the front windshield.

Anybody have an eyebrow that doesn't mess up the Honda Sensing / Safety stuff?

Thanks.

Paid $199 at dealer for tinting BUT getting refund because eyebrow could not be applied (they said).

What size wheels? and have you seen a drop in mpg from it? I am looking to replace my wheels as well just not sure if I should go 17" or 18". Possibly even stick with 16" but from the 2017 accord if they fit.

Not looking to go to crazy in an expense for this venture.
Also what did you do with your original tires/rims? I might be interested if you are looking to sell since I got some curb rash on mine.

My wheels are sitting in my garage. I had not considered their future much. Even with a pretty steep discount, the factory wheels are $200+ each and, the touring wheels are 27 pounds each.

My new 17's were $108 each.

Wow thats cheap, I might look around to see new rims around that pricing as well then haha

Keep an eye on the weight of the wheels. The ones I got are 21 pounds each rather than 27 each. This has contributed to getting LX fuel economy in a Touring.

Yea I am looking at that now, I have the EX version. So that means I have the 16in Rims and upgrading to 17in with tire would be a little too much right now.

EX Wheels are 22.71 pounds
According to Tire Rack, your tires are 20 pounds each

Total - 44.71

Any wheel that weighs less than 22 pounds will help you out.

Thanks for this, it helps and will probably switch out my 16's for another 16.

Hey Tyler,

Not sure how much you know on brands. Right now I am looking at 2-3 different choices for some budget wheels.

Looking at a Voxx or Drag or American Racing

any input/insight (pun:wink:)??

I have had Drag wheels on my Civic SI and currently have American Racing on our Insight. Both good brands. I am not happy with the long term quality of Niche wheels on my 2014 Accord at all. I have no experience with Voxx but have not heard anything bad about them at all.
I think I am going to hold off on the new rims to replace the 16". I rather upgrade to 17" later on, so instead I am going to try a gloss black plastidip. Not really sure how it will come out with the stock rims. Should be interesting if it looks terrible I would have only waster $30 ish. I am going to try and put it this weekend, so I will add pictures later

I have a piece across the top of the front windshield. I have done this on all my cars and had it on my 2015 Honda Civic Hybrid that had the camera. The tint is placed on the inside and they just only place the tint on the actual windshield/glass and not between the glass and the box area that holds your Honda sensing camera. I can post a photo if you like.

If I could swing it, I'd jump on those AR907s. Nice look and would appear to be easy to keep clean. I'm good with the EX two-tone for now, but all black would be more betterer.
