Visor Clip

I learned today that there's an "official design intent behind" the extra clip on each of the visors. Per a Honda video, the clip is a built-in design feature to hold small pieces of paper like toll booth slips, parking stubs, gas receipts, etc. You can put a parking stub in the clip and flip the visor toward the window, instead of throwing it onto the dashboard. Kinda cool that Honda included this mini-feature (even if they missed a sunglasses holder)... so wanted to share the detail behind it.

Not sure where to post this, but figured I'd put it hear as it provides a "function" that some may not be aware of. There are built in clips in both visors for you to attach things like your parking pass, a letter you plan to mail, or toll ticket to (etc. etc.) so you can have easy access to it when you need it. Nice touch by the Honda engineers.

Thanks for acknowledging the finding via repost.

Now, if they'd only add a sunglasses holder in the overhead!

It's actually available on the Japanese Insight...

OMW! Excellent find!

Strange how such little things matter, but maybe that will be enough to make us hold off for the 2020 model with fingers crossed that it will incorporate several of those Japanese upgrades, including sun glasses compartment.

It's so incredibly convenient on our old Accord!
