Found screw in my driver rear tire. Since there is no spare/jack etc. I have to get my car towed to a local Honda dealer. It's a good thing that I just got home from work and have the rest of my day free.
did the dealer replace the tire or patch it? free of charge?Found screw in my driver rear tire. Since there is no spare/jack etc. I have to get my car towed to a local Honda dealer. It's a good thing that I just got home from work and have the rest of my day free.
Where did you get your spare and jack from, and for how much? I want to get those for my Insight but don't want to pay full price for them. I know you can get a spare tire and jack for a 2016-2019 Civic and it would work, but none of my body shops in the area have them or they are asking too much for them. That is the reason I just bought a spare tire and jack. I wouldn't hit the interstate without it.
FRR posted in one of the 'spare tire' threads that he was able to purchase the Civic spare from a salvage yard for $85, which is a great price. I found my Civic spare tire on eBay and added the Insight-specific OEM foam insert for $25. Thanks. The local salvage yard wanted $103 for the tire and $90 for the jack and lugnut wrench (not including the foam insert). Seemed kinda high so figured I'll shop around some more.FRR posted in one of the 'spare tire' threads that he was able to purchase the Civic spare from a salvage yard for $85, which is a great price. Do you plan to apply ceramic coating to the 2021 Insight, or will you now consider applying a clear film to hood instead? Was the ceramic coating worthwhile and/or how did it hold up on your 2019 Insight? Not a '19, but a new 2021. I've had Wile E. for a week now. Amazon and eBay packages are starting to show up. I gifted my 2019 EX to my son (who's at KFC right now) and bought myself a new '21. I now need to do all the "little things" I did to my last Insight to this one.

Okay - what am I missing?
I only applied the ceramic coating to my 2019 Insight once. After two years (garage kept), the water still beads. I still have another bottle, and I'll probably get around to it when the weather warms a bit and I have more time. Thanks for the reminder! I wouldn't do the clear film. After two years, I had yet to have a single chip in the hood of my 2019.Do you plan to apply ceramic coating to the 2021 Insight, or will you now consider applying a clear film to hood instead? Trunk, map and dome lights are T10 bulbs. The kit I referenced above also includes the vanity bulbs. There are plenty of how-to videos online. Look up one for a Gen X civic - it's the same process.@hasarad How difficult is the interior bulb swap? I'm wanting to do that this spring
