Hey guys, I'm thinking about getting some wheel spacers ( like bonoss
or Eibach) and wondering if anyone had those installed or know anybody who had experience with them. Thanks

I first ponder why, but I can play along.

You will 100% need a spacer with lugs on it as it is scary how little threads hold our tires on now.

Outside of that, it is just a few extra nuts. Will add weight to the tires, and from what I have read around here that kills gas mileage.

The only thing you will really have to look out for is if that extra space causes any rubbing in the tire well.

I have civiv ex turbo 17" wheels on my insight ex, I have 1" spacers behind them. It looks perfect, no rubbing. my mpg with mostly highway is 43, summer, 39 winter. Make sure you tighten the inner lugs often. I have had to retorque once a year and usually 1 wheel spacer is just a little too loose for my liking. mine is a 2019 I bought in 2018, so I am due again to check in the spring.
