Tested Apple CarPlay with the latest 13.1 iOS beta which was released today. Still doesn't work with the DII Nav. Apple did add HUD/second screen support in CarPlay iOS 13 so I guess it really does need Honda to update the infotainment software for DII Nav to function with CarPlay.
Pffttt...good luck on Honda updating that. They don’t seem interested at all in updating the software of the Display Audio despite numerous bugs.

I've been following the software release notes for the below cars that have the newer infotainment system.
Honda has been actively pushing out updates to the Odyssey, Pilot, and Passport.
  • B.1.0.8
  • B.1.0.9
  • B.1.0.10
  • B.1.0.11
  • B.1.0.12
  • B.1.014
  • B1.0.06
  • B.1.0.21 [12/13/18]
  • B.1.0.26 [8/29/19]
Those 3 cars share similar build numbers that start with B1.0.XX. The Insight shares similar build numbers to the Accord. Maybe the Accord and Insight infotainment software have less urgent bugs?:plain:

Latest build numbers from Honda TSBs
Insight 18AE-1945-001
Accord 18AA-1945-001

Edit:
Found the above going through Honda TSBs. It's interesting that the Pilot, Odyssey, and Passport are running on Android Lollipop. While the Accord and Insight are running on Android Marshmallow even though they all share a similar user interface.

The download took longer than the install for me but everything was done within 15 minutes. It took 2 years but Honda finally utilized the OTA capability. :D

It's for both 2019-2020 EX(I have the EX) & Touring Insights. 18AE-2071-001 is the build for the new update. You already got it. Did you recently buy your Insight?

Edit: Oh wait you've 2047 not 2071. Hmm... You might want to try the USB method if your Insight doesn't show the update. I only found out due to update available notification (down arrow in notification tab) and got the update by looking in there.

Guess it's just taking a little longer to roll out to your vehicles. I figure mine showed up since I drove 2 hours that day. I was very impressed how it downloaded in the background without bothering me and told me it was there when I shut the vehicle off. Thank goodness the damn system didn't crash, like it usually does, while I was driving.

Good thing I have a wireless router in my garage. When connected to my house router, I got an error that the signal wasn't strong enough. Changed to the garage, and, viola! - success! Doesn't everyone have a router and complete PC setup in their garage?

My gut says this update came out because it was also loaded onto the 2021 Insight model year, which seems to be the mid-cycle refresh. (Though with the plant shutting down around same time as launch, I have yet to see any 2021 Insight inventory nearby...) It might very well be another 2 model years before another update, unless something is really, really wonky after the updates.

Updates can also be installed via USB (OM19 pg 282-283) or wirelessly (OM19 pg 278-281).

Before giving up on wireless update, double-check that you're set up for automatic download via infotainment screen (HOME --> System Updates --> Settings --> Auto Download --> Yes):
